What is ALPHAMUNICKS ?
AlphaMUNICKS is an upcoming Model United Nations conference hosted by St Nicholas Alphaville, designed to bring together passionate delegates from various schools. This event offers a platform for students to engage in intense debates on global issues, refine their public speaking skills, and collaborate in finding innovative solutions to world problems. Together with amazing chairs, beloved delegates and a devoted Secretariat team, aim to inspire the next generation of leaders by providing a dynamic and challenging environment for young diplomats.
Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation where students act as UN delegates, debating global issues and negotiating solutions.
AlphaMUNICKS will encourage, participants to engage in these discussions, honing their diplomacy and public speaking skills while learning about international relations. Wether they are a part of press, delegations or even chairing.

This year's Conference Theme
"Earth provides enough to satisfy every mans's need, but not every man's greed"- Mohandas Gandhi
"Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed," a quote by Mahatma Gandhi, highlights an important reality about the interplay between human needs and desires. It emphasises that although the earth has enough resources to provide for everyone's basic needs, including food, water, and shelter, the true problem is the unequal distribution of these resources, which is frequently made worse by structural problems like poverty and inequality. Greed, which is characterised as an unquenchable desire for more than one needs, causes social injustice and environmental degradation because people value excessive accumulation over sharing. Ultimately, Gandhi's message serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, equity, and sustainability in our interactions with the world and each other. It is this profound idea that we have chosen as the theme for this year's AlphaMUNicks conference, inspiring us to engage in meaningful discussions about resource distribution, sustainability, and our collective responsibil
Meet the Secretariat
Hello delegates! I’m Larissa Neves, and am beyond excited to be this year's Secretariat General for AlphaMUNICKS III. I’m a Sophomore at StNicholas Alphaville. If you don’t know me then you don’t know I have 2 sisters. Both of which play a big part in my life. But my Oldest sister has played a key role in my interest in MUN. Although I wasn’t too keen on the idea at first, she always pushed me to keep trying it out, and to just give it time, nowadays and I cant express how glad I am to have listened to her. MUN discusses ethical implications, instead of sweeping it under the rug or becoming desensitised to the chaos. All while using a several amount of skills to complete. I think it’s so important and an incredible experience if you make the best out of it. I’ve always loved talking about ethical implications, and trying to find a solution that helps people, and give them a voice! Fun fact about me, I absolutely love watching any movies or shows. I am picky in the end but I’ll always watch something if someone mentions it! I really hope that AlphaMUNICKS III is a great experience for all of you! Especially since it was an honour to plan it. I hope you have fun, while having a very eventful committee!

Hey delegates!! My name is Leticia Mello and I am a freshman at St Nicholas Alphaville. I am more than honoured to be Under Secretary General for Junior Committees in AlphaMUNicks III. Being part of this amazing team has shown me the importance of working together in collaboration in order to achieve a successful outcome. I joined MUN in the beginning of sixth grade, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made, MUN taught me how to research, write and give speeches, but it also taught me how to be respectful and understanding towards others with different perspectives, this is why whenever someone asks me if joining MUN is the right choice, I will 100% always encourage them to become part of this amazing group!

Hello everyone! It is with great pleasure that I announce serving as your COO for AlphaMUNicks II! I am thrilled to be a part of this unique learning opportunity, and will try my hardest to make this conference a memorable one. My experience in MUN started way back when I was in 6th Grade, and my mother (thankfully) forced me into the ECA. At first, I was extremely unhappy with that decision, however, it was after my first conference that I understood why so many fall in love with passion towards Model United Nations, and I wholeheartedly hope I can assist others to feel that as well. Finally, it is with unimaginable honour that I state my participation within such an outstanding secretariat, and if anything is needed, let me know!!

Hello everyone!! My name is Isabella Gargantini, and I'm currently a junior at St Nicholas Alphaville, and I am so happy to announce I will be your new Press Director for This year's AlphaMUNicks!! I should start by saying how honored I am to be a part of this amazing experience, and rest assured I will do my best to make this session memorable to all delegates. As I suppose many of you, as a quiet person, I started my MUN career as a very shy delegate, but slowly started seeing conferences as a extremely fun past-time, rather than a dreadful experience. Most of all I will forever cherish the memories that I made during my time as a delegate. This will be my first time leading press, and I cannot even describe how exciting this has all been. Rest assured that all the Secretariat are doing our very best to make this conference as memorable as possible to all participants. I cant wait to meet you all !!

Meet our Adviors
As the MUN coordinator, one of the most rewarding moments for me is witnessing students engage in complex and meaningful discussions about world politics. Their growth and passion after each conference inspire us as teachers to strive toward becoming the best versions of ourselves as well.

I first became interested in International Relations & Geopolitics during college. After my time in the US military I had been exposed to a great deal of the world, but often lacked the perspective necessary to gain a better understanding of the world outside the US' borders. Organizations like Model United Nations are imperative in our truly globalized and interconnected world, in which every action has an equal and opposite reaction. When students take part in the conferences they expand their minds, gaining new perspectives, a more comprehensive picture of the world and most importantly empathy. That empathy is the key to us creating a more equitable, equal and tolerant world for everyone.
